About Marcus L. Wise

Photographer Marcus L. Wise, a Buffalo native, received his B.A. from UB and currently works full time pursuing his passion for art and photography doing freelance commercial shoots, and as owner operator of gallery, retail space and resource center, 464.

With a focus on travel photography, Wise’s vision offers unique perspectives that turn the mundane into the exceptional and the often plain into the abstract. He has photographed over 30 cities in as many states and throughout three countries.

Wise has exhibited in half a dozen juried shows, one of which awarded him first place for photography, and has had his work shown in numerous galleries and venues throughout Western NY, Rochester, and Pittsburgh. Marcus also sat on the creation committee for the DecemberArt Market on Amherst Street.

In addition to his own site, www.MarcusLWisePhotography.com, Wise is also the creator and moderator of local online arts gallery www.MINDWEB.us.
